These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LucidVia (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
LucidVia analyzes publicly accessible web pages and produces AI-readiness reports. Reports are informational and reflect a best-effort automated analysis. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome (search ranking, AI engine citations, revenue, etc.) from implementing recommendations.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit URLs you are not authorized to scan, or use the Service to scan sites in violation of their terms.
- Use the Service to scan private, internal, or non-public URLs.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or other technical safeguards.
- Resell or redistribute reports as your own work without substantive value-add.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others, or to upload unlawful content.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Plans, billing & refunds
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice (at least 30 days for material increases).
Features marked "Soon" on the pricing page are roadmap items and are not guaranteed by your subscription. Your subscription gives you the features marked as live.
5. Reports are automated estimates
LucidVia reports, scores, and recommendations are produced by automated analysis of a sample of publicly accessible pages. They are opinion-based estimates, not statements of fact, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not an assessment of any third party's quality, security, or business. Any score or finding about a website you do not own reflects our automated methodology applied to public data, and should be read as such.
6. Public share links & third-party reports
If you enable a public share link, you are solely responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring you have the right to publish a report about the scanned site. We are not liable for content disclosed via share links you create. If you believe a publicly shared report contains inaccurate or infringing material about you or your property, contact support@lucidvia.com and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or unpublish it promptly.
7. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to URLs you submit and any content you own that is scanned. We retain all rights to the Service, our analysis methodology, and the report format. The recommendations we generate are licensed to you for your internal use under your subscription. All third-party product and company names referenced in the Service are trademarks of their respective owners; their use is for identification and comparison only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
8. Third parties
The Service depends on third parties (Supabase, Firecrawl, OpenAI, Paddle, Vercel). Outages or changes by these providers can affect the Service. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate impact but are not liable for third-party failures.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will be accurate, complete, or current.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of (a) URLs you submit that you were not authorized to scan, (b) your violation of these Terms, and (c) your misuse of public share links.
12. Termination
You can terminate at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or terminate for material breach, abuse, or non-payment. Sections that by their nature survive termination will survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, dispute resolution).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where required, sent by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LucidVia is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.
